About Dr. David Carpenter


A Texas native, Dr. David Carpenter is Board Certified in Family Practice and has been a respected doctor in Humble for 28 years. After graduating from Humble High School in 1970, Doctor David Carpenter attended Texas A&M University and went on to obtain his medical license from North Texas State College of Medicine in 1978. Soon after, he returned home to provide family health care to his friends and neighbors in Humble.

Doctor David Carpenter has always loved the diversity of Family Medicine. His experiences as a physician, particularly the eight years he spent delivering babies, provides him with an understanding and passion for family healthcare. Staying abreast of changes in the medical field, his clinic in Humble provides only the most modern medical services for its patients. As a family doctor in his hometown, David Carpenter has an experienced hand and he truly cares about his patients and his community. Dr. Carpenter married his wife 33 years ago and is blessed with five children. He loves traveling, hunting and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition, to his private family practice, Dr. Carpenter founded The Lipo and Laser Center in early 2008. The Lipo and Laser Center now encompasses a broad base of services including facial rejuvenation, non-surgical face lift procedures, skin tightening, laser hair removal, intense pulse lights for age spots and uneven pigmentation, micro-dermabrasion, and injectable wrinkle therapy using, Botox®, Radiesse and Juvéderm®. Marcus Sevier, PA-C

Marcus Sevier has been a part of Humble Family Practice since teaming up with Dr. Carpenter in 2004. He is a lifelong Texas resident and a graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Health in 1994. He graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 1998 where he completed his Physician’s Assistant training.

Mr. Sevier is certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed by the Texas Medical Board. He also holds certifications in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support through the American Heart Association.

Mr. Sevier married his childhood sweetheart in 1996 and together they have three wonderful children, ages 7, 8 and 10.

Chad Burch, PA-C

Chad Burch graduated from St. Francis University in 2000 with a Bachelor in Physician Assistant Sciences. He earned his Master of Physician Assistant Sciences with a specialization in Family Practice from the University of Nebraska in 2003 Mr. Burch is certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed by the Texas Medical Board. He also holds certifications in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support through the American Heart Association. He spent six years serving in the United States Navy, during which time he was stationed at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, D.C. and the Naval Station in Ingleside, TX.

Mr. Burch is originally from Bear Lake, Pennsylvania. He has three children ages 8, 6 and 4. When he is not at Humble Family Practice, he spends his time with his family and children playing soccer, Pokeman and Barbies.
